Born and brought up in Mumbai, Siddharth Lalchandani is a full time photographer whose tryst with the camera began in 2001. He has assisted renowned photographers Amit Ashar and Rajat Ghosh, and interned with French fine art photographer Shanta Rana, before going on to get his own diploma in Fashion Photography from the Shari Academy, Mumbai. 

In the two decades since, he has shot everything from fashion to food, and corporate to interiors. There onwards, his work has encompassed campaigns for Benzer, Charagh Din, The Ancestry Store, along with shoots for designers like Neeta Lulla, Roma Narsinghani, Nivedita Saboo, Chola – The Label, Maya Parikh, and White Raven. Siddharth has also shot ad campaigns for brands like Seven Up, Sahara Water, Dominos, Jumpin Drinks, Poker High, Cycle Incense, Exo Dish Wash and Parle-G Biscuits to name a few. Additionally, he has been the Director of Photography for lifestyle magazine The Sindhian for 14 years now. 

With a strong inclination towards capturing movement in fashion and a forte for portraiture, Siddharth’s work was showcased at a fine art photography exhibition held for the opening of Gallery Zebra in Helsinki, Finland (2017).
